Initial Consultation
Schedule a free 15-minute consultation by using our “Contact Us” form on our website or by reaching out directly through email. During this initial consultation, we will be able to help determine if your child would benefit from an evaluation to assess their specific needs and developmental progress.
Feeding Therapy
Feeding therapy can focus on a variety of aspects, including breast feeding, bottle feeding, the important transition to solids, and addressing concerns related to tethered oral tissues, such as tongue, lip, and cheek ties, as well as any potential oral motor concerns. Our experienced therapist is specifically trained to provide both pre- and post-operative therapy for children who may be considered suitable candidates for tongue and lip tie releases. Additionally, she is equipped to offer support and guidance for parents who are navigating the challenges of breast feeding, bottle feeding, and the transition to introducing solid foods into their child's diet.
Evaluations
Evaluations are completed to obtain a better idea of your child’s, feeding, speech, and/or language concerns. Typically, evaluations are made up of caregiver interviews, review of background history, observations, and formal assessments if deemed appropriate.
Speech and Language Therapy
Speech therapy significantly improves speech clarity, enhances oral motor skills, and effectively reduces frustration that often accompanies communication challenges. It fosters speaking confidence and promotes effective interactions within social settings. Language therapy specifically targets both receptive and expressive language skills for children who are struggling to understand or articulate their thoughts and feelings, including late talkers who may need additional support. We also provide comprehensive support for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods and assess individual language processing styles to ensure personalized approaches. Some children may require both speech and language therapy, a determination that is thoughtfully made during the evaluation process.
