Hi, I am happy that you have found Mini Milestones Therapy and Development! I founded Mini Milestones when I realized just how challenging it was for families to get to therapy appointments while simultaneously juggling busy schedules and enduring long waitlists. I place a high value on client-centered care and child-led therapy, both of which are essential for effective progress. Over the years, I have truly noticed a significant difference in the progress of a child when they are genuinely excited to participate in therapy, when they are in a familiar and comfortable environment, and when the whole family takes part in their therapy journey in one way or another. There is absolutely nothing that makes me happier than witnessing a child and their family graduate from therapy, fully aware of all the “mini” milestones they reached together to get to that wonderful point. I look forward to working with you and your family!

Sydney is a certified speech-language pathologist who is passionate about providing child and family centered care. Her experience in outpatient facilities, schools, daycares, in home, and medical daycares sets her apart and allows her to collaborate with families and other professionals to better provide families with individualized plans for their needs during their child’s current stage of development. She specializes in helping children and families navigate goals associated with infant feeding, transitioning to solids, oral motor impairments, language delays, speech sounds disorders, tethered oral tissues (tongue and lip ties), and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
She enjoys collaborating with parents, teachers, caregivers, and therapists to provide a well rounded plan of care to achieve goals. Sydney strongly believes in not only celebrating and recognizing the big achievements of children and families in therapy, but also the “mini” milestones they reach along the way. In the end, it is the “mini milestones” are what make up the major goal.
In her free time, you can catch Sydney spending time with her husband Joseph, walking their dog Kip, dancing, crafting, or reading. Her favorite part about being able to serve families as speech-language pathologist is forming bonds with her clients and seeing the difference individualized and natural environment support can make.
